OVERVIEW
The purpose of this project is to create a virtual gallery to display all the works created during my time at Cal Poly Pomona. The gallery contains works in various mediums, such as fine art, photography, and sculpture. The images displayed are all rendered from the Unreal Engine.
PROCESS
This virtual exhibition project utilizes many different software programs to complete. First, the project is modeled using the CAD software Rhino 3D to create layout and design of the gallery to scale. The project fbx files are then imported into Blender to optimize textures and lighting in order to prepare them for export to the Unreal Engine. After the importing to Unreal Engine, finishing touches such as object collisions and foliage from Quixel Bridge are added. Lastly, the project is exported into an executable file so viewers can freely explore the 3D space.
